I would build a TL-606 style cab with a Faital 15PR400, tuned to ~50-55 hz or so. Or if you want to go smaller yet maybe a TL-806 style with the 12PR300. In either case build in 1/2" ply, and add some bracing.

The ACME is a good cab, it will really depend on his amp choice, and his volume needs. With a 200 watt amp, he might not be getting the volume he needs.

+1 Probably not a good choice in this case IMO and IME. It can work great if you have enough power, enough Acme cabs for the job, know quite a bit about EQ and hi passing, etc., and really want a huge fundamental for your low notes (which can be a kind of 'careful what you ask for' in some cases).

However, if the OP is playing at the level of an unmic'd acoustic piano, or a low volume folk gig with a coupe acoustic guitars, etc., a 4ohm Acme B110 would work OK with a couple hundred watts.

For low wattage, on a budget, and small and light (assuming not much volume needed), I would suggest the GK Neo112(II). Nice sounding 112, decent low end response, efficient, light, small, shockingly inexpensive, available at Musician's Friend, etc.
