Looks like SWR and Mesa fans aren't effecting the poll as much as before.

Ok, I voted Hartke since that's what I play.

Just curious, but isn't this your 3rd poll on this?

Yes, the Carvin BRX10.4 belongs in any 4x10 poll! Sweet sounding cab. Smooth, deep, pure.
The Bergie's are great too. Transparent, solid, well built.
If the ACME B4 is anything like the B2, it's near the top of any list.
Out of the GK's, the 410 RBH was a great cab. Heavy though.

kinda disappointing this poll is not getting the hit/vote numbers the first two did... it was a process to get to this... the best list of the 3 imo... but hey, whataya gonna do...

I only wish I could plug into cabs like the Carvin and the Avatar so I could compare them with other cabs ... I would think there are a lot of sales that slip through their fingers with direct sales only.... oh well....

I voted for the Ampeg, but I have never heard the Genz Benz Uber cabs, I am curious as to how they compare. It's hard to beat how deep the Ampeg goes though.

So far the ones I'm looking at trying to test side by side which will never happen because no one carries them all and some are direct order lol... are in three groups:

It seems these four are lighter and cheaper than the others listed here:
Avatar, Carvin, GK, Hartke

Even though they're more weight I also want to check out:
Ampeg, Mesa, SWR and Trace Elliot

I would check out used versions to keep cost down of:
the Aguilar, Bergantino AE, and Genz Benz

I determined this info pretty quick just glancing at websites and some of it could be off but I think it's grouped pretty good. I'm still watching these poll results though

(Sorry OP I'd hijack your thread a bit here I hope it's ok for you...)

I'd like to know more specifically about people opinion about 4x10 cabs thing..

#Which 4x10 cabs do you think has the most "FLAT" sound?

#Which 4x10 cabs do you think is the most "Vintage" sounding?

Thanks in advance (and sorry to hijack)

Cheers
