Best sounding 610 or 810 cabinet

Im looking for crystal clear almost studio sound. Tight deep lows with good midrange with sparkling highs. Is there a cab this size that fits the bill?

My head is an Eden wt800

Then no. There is no such thing as a 6x10 or an 8x10 with studio clarity and solid low end extension and high end extension and smooth mids.

Not a one is even close.

fEarful, BFM, Barefaced, Audiokinesis Thunderchild, Baer's ML line, Bergantino. One of these should fit the bill. Check out KJung's video's. fEarful & BFM aren't returnable, you build them (or have them built), but you would have no trouble selling them if you didn't like it. Same for any of the above cabs.

I love how 810 cabs look, but the sheer size must be colossal to shift around. I always thought 2 410 cabs would be easier plus a little more directional. What is the benefit of an 810 or even a 610 cab?

Not anything remotely resembling clear. That's not a comment on the sound...but not anything resembling anything close to smooth.

I wouldnt need to move it. the cab would stay at church. I heard good things about the bergantino and the epifani 610. Dont know if they fit the bill for what I am looking for though? Or do they?

I'm in complete agreement with this. 6X10's and 8X10's are not what I think of for a crystal clear studio tone.

I'm shopping 8x10 cabs right now, played Mesa, peavey, basson, swr, fender and ampeg so far. I found I'm really looking for the ampeg tone personally (sealed 8x10).

For what your describing ,so far the fender would be the one ( 8x10 pro) . It's built like the ampeg with 2x10's in each "box" but also has 2 small ports in each "box". So its still punchy (unlike the 8x10's with big ports on the bottom). The ports do extend the low mids and low end pretty well. It has an adjustable tweeter which I didn't find harsh like in some cabs. Imo, it was probably the best overall sounding 8x10 I have played. It handles 2000w , and has casters , handles, slide rails, kick plate, speakon, sturdy metal grill. Etc

I have not played the berg nv610 (which everyone raves about) or any of the other boutique cabs out there. There may be better, but the fender (suprisingly) was the best of the ones I have tried. I still am lusting over the ampeg punch though. With a Spector it rules. Ymmv

Moving an 8x10 is actually easier than a 4x10 imo. Tilt it back n go. If you have stairs or no truck, life might suck though.

Bergantino NV610 as far as Best sounding 6x10 or 8x10 but I would say look into an Accugroove El Whappo/Jr for "studio sound"

I've been looking for clips of this cab. If you don't care about the transportation factor (which I don't) how does it compair to the ampeg 810e ? Details please, not just "its so much better!". They have one here at bass central I may go play.

The Fender has seemed to be the best as far as clarity. The Ampeg is probably the tightest. I liked the GK NEO 810 when I tried it.

I thought about it but was told the epifani and berg are more tighter and less bloaty/boomy on the low end than eden.

I detune to low A so I need a cab that can handle it with clarity and not just BOOM
