best speaker cab for TC Electronic RH450?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi there,

I am seriously in need of getting a new amp and i was considering getting a TC Electronic RH450. I've pleayed on one before, read nothing but good reviews and really like the sound of it. The only problem is, I will need to buy a new cab for it, but do not have a lot of money.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What type of music do you play and at what volumes will you be playing at are the big questions. There a quite a few threads and hours of reading on the subject if you do a search. What is your budget? TC's cabs are voiced best for their heads and they generally like the tweeters cranked up a bit more than other heads in general. I haven't seen an RS cabinet on sale here used for a couple of months and don't really ever remember seeing any of the BC cabs here either selling.

Due to the onboard output compression and limiting, you're pretty much good for just about anything in the 250w and up range...as long as you like the tone of the box.
