Holy run on sentences...
What makes you think they're "poopy" speakers? If it's a new amp, call Ashdown and have it repaired under warranty.

I have had it repaired but the build qualityof the amp is quite bad the foam at the back of the speaker was all ripped abd they tried to cover it up with a random bit of foam and ive had it a month and if the one speakers gone already, id rather buy better ones so I dont have to be without my amp for weeks at a time

I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with Ashdown speakers, I have a MAG410 & a MAG115 cab's for about 6 years and they still sound great IMO.....

What kind of music are you playing? What size venue and how loud were you playing at when you blew the speaker?

Some times, no matter what the brand or model is, it comes down to user error.

These questions have nothing to do with me being an Ashdown endorser. I've been using Ashown amps and cabs for over a decade and I have never blown a speaker from Ashown or any other brand.

As a 2x10 user, I think that whatever you were doing was too much for a 2x10 to handle. I always use a pair.

Dude -
1) Remove the head from the combo amp, buy a rack back for it and burn the rest.
2) Buy a GOOD cab - I use two Epifani 2x10's with my Ashdown head and it sounds GREAT.

You will not regret it. Ashdown cabs/speakers: Bleh. Ashdown amps: GREAT.

I used an ABM500 with an ABM410 cab for years and was very happy with the tone. IMO, Ashdown makes some pretty good products and that they use a pretty good driver in their cabs. You need to make it's not just a matter of asking too much from a 210 cabinet. Personally, I would add another 210 or a 115 cab to go with your combo.
