Bi-amping is to split the signal into lows and highs to run them to cabs specifically designed to handle those frequencies.

ie: The lows running to a sub or a 15 and the mids/highs running to a box with 6's or 8's in it or a PA top instead of one speaker trying to do it all.

Just to get the verbiage straight, you're not running the cab through it, you're running the amp into the cab. And what do you mean by "combo with exterior cab options"?

With your Peavey with a biamp crossover in it you can run one output of the crossover back into the head and out to the attached cab. You can run the other side of the crossover into a combo amp... the key being you need another amplifier such as the combo because the crossover outputs will not drive non-unpowered speakers.

There are more options but that's the basics. Once you understand the basics the other options will make more sense. You can run one side as a low or high cut while running the other side full range.

Yerars ago I ran a Peavey Combo 300 with biamp crossover. I ran the low side back into the Combo 300 and the high side into a powered Peavey 210 cab. It sounded okay and weighed a ton.
