Biddle Ampeg Micro Stack

Sign in to disble this ad
Just noticed last night when The Roots backed Steven Tyler doing Aerosmith / Run DMC / Walk This Way...

Owen Biddle was rockin' the Micro VR stack with two vert 2x10s.

Even Mr. Biddle is not immune to the dreaded BFM/JimmyM effect.

(I imagine the youtube link won't work for long)

Three drum sets on stage take a lot of room, so he was forced to go vertical...

And Owen rocks the low B pretty regularly, so it's good to see that cute li'l 'peg stack can handle it.

I love those Micros, the only reason I haven't bought one yet is I'm holding out to try the new Portaflexes

Woof. I don't know that they're in the same class. I think the new B15s are pretty much collectors' items. The micro rig is pretty attainable at $600 w/ one cab... the Heritage B-15 is a limited run (50 per year?) and street price of $4000. Unless you're holding out in a vault full of gold like Scrooge McDuck, you'll be holding out for a while...

Same here. As soon as the pf500 is out and I can compare it to the micro vr, I'll be getting one of them.

no worries Ampeg PF500/PF350 The 350 looks similar with the Micro, but with more power; the 500 has more features (and power)
