Not last night though! Big E 4x6.5 sounded great as usual. I had a lot of people give me great compliments on my playing, I think they could just finally hear the bass clearly at the back of the room for once in this bar. Really my favorite cab for upright, I don't know why these aren't taking off on the DB side of talkbass. |

Electric or upright. You guys with the 4 x 8's---they sound astounding with the Tecamp. I think they can hear the low end in China. |

It is a spectacular amp.

And Duke will be doing some in a few weeks.
One thing I can say--I've measured the -3db points.
the 4 x 6 is about 43 and the 8's about 37.Built a prototype 2 x 10 with the new 3010lf's. 33hz!
I think that these beat most cabs I know. That are twice as big. |

Mike - congratulations to you and the 'dynamic duo' for so successfully pushing the envelope. Keep up the good work!

That low end extension is a lot lower than I had expected. I thought there was more of a perceived low end thing happening, which in my view is a neutral to positive actually. Meaning it's easier to control, IMO. But apparently it's less of an issue with these?
Also noticed on the facebook page there are some guitar cabs without cross-firing. So not necessary to the MVW design?
