Comparing to the non-super cabs is the most impressive to me. It blows me away that a 4x6 will obliterate a typical 212 and nearly match the output of a 215.

My website is under construction. Turned my website guys loose about 2 weeks ago. It just takes a while. Been doing this long enough now that I know it has to be right the first time. We got ahead of ourselves on here. Kudos to Mike for holding it together when it started. I'm just now ready to start, almost 5 months later.

Another note on the GTG in OK. Bringing a 6x6 cab. After some discussion with Mike he felt in order to make the comparison fair with the BFM and fEARful it needed to be a 6x6. Started building it yesterday. I'm really looking forward to hearing them all together also. All 3 designs have their strong points. BFM in senstivity, fEARful in bottom end extension, BigE in the crazy.

You need to have heard the cabs. The contest will run until we've held a few gtg's, shipped out demos, done whatever we can to get them out.

Ok---within the next month we're going to replace that Youtube clip!

Working on the 8 x 5. Very cool form factor. Only Big E that is taller than wide! about 29 x 21 x 11. Gonna be heavy, though. Maybe 50#---I guess that's not too bad. Should easily compete with a 410.

So, does that mean us who cant be there in person,
can participate in the contest by means of hearing the YouTube clip? Which btw I did not think it sounded as bad as some had committed about. I came away with a very positive view of what the cab can do

One of the few I have seen is the Emminence Legend BP102 at 207cc but it is an exceptional speaker with a resonant frequency of 35Hz. Beyma has a few 10s with very high Vd and correspondingly high cost. The highest is the 10MW/ND at 263cc and it costs 260 each. Yikes !

As you wrote, I can't imagine that many cabinets use those speakers.

Fixed it for ya, Mr. F. And with the gratuitous disparagement removed as a bonus.

You're welcome...

I am very excited about the get together in Oklahoma tomorrow. For anyone on the fence about coming, the roads are fine so come on down and check it out. I can't wait to hear the full Big E pa system, and I'm drooling just thinking about the 4x6, and the 6x6 bass cabs, as well as a couple fearful cabs! Man I'm not gonna sleep!

haha... I did snap a couple of pics with my phone, but the flash wouldn't reach far enough so they didn't turn out good enough to see anything.
We'll get plenty of pics tomorrow.
