Billy Sheehan Hartke Kilo Rundown Video

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, being a big fan of Mr. Sheehan and the new Hartke stuff, just saw this video. No playing, but Billy Sheehan explains the Hartke Kilo in human terms. Cool to see this amp finally built.

Shoot, when are we going to see Billy audition items on the Price is Right?

Looks like they redesigned the whole front end. Wonder how the lucky few who already own one feel about that. Looks more user-friendly.

There are Kilos already out on the street? Wait um I mean, people already own these amps?

I have seen them for sale on Sam Ash and AMS website, but thought it was like a preorder on thing.

Yea they have been out for a little more than a year. Unless the guy I saw was on "the inside" there was a gent in Delaware gigging with one of these puppies.

Hmmm no kidding. Cool! I read they weren't going to be out until the NAMM show.

I heard that too. So maybe it was a tryout. It had the original control layout shown on Hartke web site, not all the lighted buttons on the demo by Mr. Sheehan. Maybe I wasn't supposed to see what I saw... Or repeat what I saw...

I'd sleep with one eye open and keep a lookout in your rear view mirrors for unmarked cars following you!

If it helps, this video was the first I saw the lights also. Saw a few photos of it before.

Ah, you mean the Ampeg sound! Sorry, Grasshopper. Not just any amp is up to the task. It takes many years of advanced engineering to produce an amp that sounds that bad...

I saw him sit in with a garage band. Ibanez bass, some amp maybe a GK can't remember. It still sounded just like Billy Sheehan. Well, Sheehan with a blanket over his amp, but there was no mistake about who was playing.

Yes the Kilos are finally being produced and they will begin shipping in April. There are no Kilos (zero) out in the world as of yet so any sightings are false. Billy Sheehan will be one of the first players to have one and he will explain it all in a video very soon.

That's weird. I totally could gave sworn that was a Kilo, Larry. I know he was driving a 410/115 Hydrive stack. Sorry for my confusion good sir. And thanks for the strings way back when!

I see that billy is using 4 of the 4x10 ak cabs. Im surprised that he doesn't just load a pair of the hartke 8x10 cabs with the ak drivers.
