A-Bing Question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Guys,

I want to A-B two heads into a Berg AE 410 cabinet. For the input I have a 2 way switch so the bass will only be active into one amp at a time. My question is: is it OK to have both amps plugged into the cab at the same time?

NO!

The only way that would work is if you were also switching the outputs of the amps to the speaker one at a time!

Don't do it.

If you do it, make sure to video tape it, and then share it with us. It is Halloween... might be fun to see

Radial makes a pedal called the CabBone. That's the ONLY way to do what you want- otherwise, you'll destroy BOTH amps instantly.

Well - maybe not instantly! You have to leave time for the magic smoke to begin to percolate.
