Black Line SVT

My friend has a 74' black line. There are two speaker outputs on the back. But he isn't sure what the amp can run at. I looked through the forums some, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.

So 74 black line svt - 2ohms yay or nay?

Thanks!

Speaker out should be 4 ohm output, same for the ext. jack. So if you use both output jacks the output transformer tap is switched to 2 ohms.

Right. It'll run two ohms, but old SVT's like to see 4 ohms on each speaker out.

+1

If you have two 8 ohm cabs you are better off daisy chaining the cabs and then connecting to the speaker out instead of connecting 1 cab to each the speaker and ext out.
