Just tried this li'l head with my Eden EX112 4 ohm cab. Sounds great! Wonder how it would be for live shows? Hmmm...

Nearly silent? Seriously, even if you mike the cab through a PA for the audience, you'd have a totally overdriven sound out front (maybe that's what you're going for) and have a hard time hearing it on stage. I just had a 4-piece jazz rehearsal in a fellow's bandmate's living room, and he said there was an amp and large speaker for me to use, so I left mine at home. It was a 5-watt Epiphone valve junior tube amp feeding a Peavey 1516 cabinet, and it was totally drowned out by keys, light drums and unmiked alto sax. In a living room. No way it would work on a gig for bass.
