Last night I saw a GK cab with some sort of nylon plug blocking up the 1/4" jack. I thought I was the only one bothered by the wheezing noise from open jacks, but apparently not. Anyway, I'm looking online for where I can buy some, but all my Google searches come to naught. What are they called?
Thanks! |

But that's where the fire comes out.....
We had a soundguy with more power than sense years ago, and there really was FIRE blowing out of the back of the subs on one side.

Depending on the cab design you may or may not be able to hear it, but if it's not sealed you'll at least be able to feel the air moving in and out if you put your hand up to it.

Then it will only happen if there is enough co2 in the room, and you need to have a maple fretboard and an active bass. |

Depends on the cab, I suppose - with my PH610, I actually thought I had a cab rattle or driver problem, and all it ended up being was air being pushed out of the two 1/4 jacks - I plugged 'em up, and it was gone... Since I'm only using speakon these days, I found some decent plugs, and plugged both up - although I can get 'em back out if needed without too much difficulty...

I sealed the 1/4 jacks internally in my BFM cabs. |
