blown horn in a Ampeg PR410 cab

somehow the horn in my Ampeg PR410 got blown and it sounds like crap now....

I'd like to get a replacement... is this something I should just call ampeg for? Or is there a different place to get it?

I am almost positive they used Foster horns in those cabs. Yeah, call Ampeg support. They are helpful. You sure didn't just blow the bulb?

I'd assume if I blew the bulb, the horn would be completely silent?

This sounds more like it's a blow voice coil... where it's all distorted.. if I turn the dial on the back down, it all goes away.

Yeah call Ampeg. They should still have the parts, or refer to who does.

More than likely you just need to replace the diaphragm in the tweeter. It's pretty easy to do and shouldn't cost more than $20.00.
