Boutique Bass Heads (Alessandro, Ark, Divded by 13 etc)

Does anyone use an Alessandro Basset Hound, Ark Rhino, Divded by 13 TBL 200, or something similar?

If you do, do you have any clips?

Can't speak to any of these amps specifically, but I own two D13 guitar amps (JRT head and EDT combo) and they are incredible. I've played a few others as well and they did not disappoint. They are expensive but worth it - bullet proof and sound great. If I ever get a tube bass amp it will be a TBL.

I play with a guitar player who has a Divided by 13 amp it sounds *awesome*. I cannot imagine that their bass head would not please you, provided you were looking for a high-gain tube bass amp style sound (and ran it through a pretty big cab, a 6x10, 8x10, or 4x12, or burly 2x15 or the like).

I've seen the Alessandro well-reviewed in two different bass mags, and while it's not too loud, I bet it sounds amazing. Somehow I don't think MP3 sound clips are really going to do any of those amps justice. If you got the cash, buy the one that will be loud enough for your gig and enjoy.

This is an old thread...but I play the TBL 200 with the DVDby13 4x12 bass cab. Let me know if you have any specific questions...
