Bracing/Dampening a Mesa 2x15 diesel cab
So I just purchased a Mesa 2x15 cab from the 90s. It sounds great, but it vibrates out of control. The solution is bracing/dampening, obviously (I mean, it's a mesa, you'd think they'd have worked this stuff out).
I haven't opened the back yet - but I was wondering, have any of you done this? I was thinking of buying some acoustic foam and spray mounting it to the back panel. Is this a good/bad idea? I don't want to change the sound, just get it to stop vibrating.
