So, I'm having resonance issues with my amp, I posted a thread about this two summers ago and was told to brace it. I used 2 1x2 strips per side, but it didn't really help. Three of the braces are not completely perpendicular to the baffle and back of the cab, could that have caused them to not work?
Basically, how should I go about bracing it now.
Also, any ideas of what to line the box with, it has some wimpy little cotton in there right now. |

. | The right way, panel to panel. Strips don't do diddly. |

Also, would pieces of 1x2 work? I'm assuming it should. |

I'm thinking three from baffle to back in the corners that don't have the tweeter, and four side to side. Do they need to be arranged in odd distances to stop standing waves? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
