You skunked your own poll as soon as you left a choice for "other"...sorta (not really, Ampeg looks the winner)

Yeah, I mean....back up is a very loose definition. There are definitely more Sunns then there are of the single Fender amp (and it's really the same as the Sunn 300T)

Apparently, everyone must use Genz-Benz judging from the poll, lol. What the heck "other" brands are there that everyone is voting for? Ashdown? Vintage Sunn?

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot half the planet owns a Markbass something or other. Carry on.

Yeah, what the heck is Roland up there for? GB should be named and MB too. Roland definitely belongs in the 'other' category.

GK (800RB, 2001RB, MB500...possibly MB800)
GB (Streamliner 900)
Mesa (Walkabout, previously M2K Basis)
Ampeg (SVP-CL, SVP-Pro)
Aguilar (GS112's, previously a DB 359)
Bag End (S15D's)

GK and Bag End is my primary gigging rig. I'll use the other stuff for different sounds when I feel like changing it up.

I sold all the heavy, old stuff and bought a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.0 12T combo. Added a 2x10 Shuttle cab. Now I can walk in with 32 pounds (cab and amp) in one hand, 36 (2x10) in the other, and have 600 watts peak power to stun the audience.

IMO Genz-Benz rules the OTHER category!

I started out with a terrible Crate amp. Now I have a GK MB210 combo, and I love it. It doesn't have the classic tone of an Ampeg, but its sound is perfect for my band (just drums, bass and acoustic guitar). It's powerful, sounds great at every volume level, and I can easily carry it with one hand. Hell, I can carry it with one finger.

I'm sure the day will come when my tonal preference has changed and I'll want something else, but for now, this amp is perfect for me.

EBS Fafner head into Eden cab(s). I love the Edens but I recently got to try out EBS cabs too... that switch might happen.

What is the tone difference between Carvin and GK?

Same question for you; what is the tone difference between Eden and Boogie? I would think Boogie has a faster deeper sound while Eden has more mid range is brighter? Both rigs look great
