breaking in new amp and speakers?

Sign in to disble this ad
bought an eden 210 from daddys junky and it had blown silverish drivers, i called em out on it and they reworked the whole cab for free. so now i have two brand new eden tens (not bad for a $240 purchase) and when i went to pick it up i traded my old ampeg svt350h in for a hartke lh500 so now i basically have a brand new rig, but the problem is i've never had new gear before. is there a procedure to break in speakers? i've heard of playing an ipod through them at low volume for a while but does it really help? i'm honestly nervous to play it right now couse i dont want to accidentally half life this new stuff.
