Question British vs. American

Sign in to disble this ad
Having a quick look around, it seems obvious to me that this is one area where Britain's output has the potential to match (and surpass... ) the Stateside offerings.

So TB, War of Independence or War of 1812?

I'll throw my hat into the ring with the land of my birth:

I can't believe that someone from England would leave out Trace Elliot.

Trace Elliot for the win!

That's not a comprehensive list (no Ampeg or Vox, either...)

Oft touted as the great plane ever by the denizens of the US, the P-51 only became effective when fitted with a Rolls-Royce engine...

To Quote Keith Morris,

England, sure. We'll give em a break, with their Hiwatts and their Marshalls. It started here make no mistake. Always real and never fake.

What about VOX? Sure, they never really had a bass amp to compete with the SVT or Acoustic 360/361, but the styling was just superb.
