Bronco 40 - New B-DEC?

Sign in to disble this ad

Fender Bronco 40 40W 1x10 Bass Combo Amp and more Bass Amplifiers at GuitarCenter.com.

If its like the B-DEC with more power and a less crappy interface, I'm all for it.

Searched and didn't find any threads on this, forgive me if I missed it.

Looks pretty damn cool. The Bdecs with the little lcd just seemed weird, and imdo they didn't sound that good :\

The effects were fun, but overall it sounded horrible. Didn't help that I was using an active 5er at the time, and a B string through a 110 combo is asking for trouble unless its a Genz Benz.

Hello,

I had a B-DEC and I agree that the sound was horrible. Now, I have the Bronco 40 and the sound is quite good.

The thing that impresses me the most about the Bronco 40 is that when you change cabinets, using the Fender Fuse software, you really hear the difference.

Over the last few years, I have dabbled with:
  • Line 6
  • Guitar Rig 4
  • Amplitube (Ampeg SVX/Fender)
  • Roland COSM

On the Fender Bronco 40, a 2x10 sounds bright and punchy, a 15 sounds warm and thumpy, an 8x10 sounds warm and punchy, etc...

It sounds good enough to entice me to consider the real Fender bass amps modeled by the Bronco 40.

My personal favorite is the Bassman TV.

I would really suggest that you check it out.
