Can this be the next big thing for tube amp design or another over hyped marketing letdown?

I REALLY like the idea, if it works in the real world.

looks like a ripoff of the stuff markbass put in their 300w classic 300 tube amp so at this point you can't call it the next big thing. they're also not the first to let you use any kind of power tube you want. would it be cool if it works? might be. but bear in mind it's behringer.

Show me a schematic and I'll consider it. Otherwise it's just an advertising claim aimed at people who lack the knowledge to evaluate it properly.

If there is a real advance here, they would have patented it.

Ummm,... by "revolutionary circuit" are they really just referring to an easy-to-use biasing circuit? This is nothing new. Add in the reliability of Behringer & I think we have an epic fail brewing.

We'll know it's true, if Bugera up the warranty on tubes past the 90 days that all manufacturers do.

It could be mircro-processor based like Markbass did. Actually measuring the tubes in circuit and adjusting each tube bias.
But then Markbass gives you the choice of "Long Life" or "Hi-Fi"

hmmm...

The Chinese just built a Stealth Bomber so don’t put a slick, affordable bass amp past them.
