Behringer... |

Probably by 12 year old girls making $2 a week if they are lucky.
Nothing to see here folks, move along.

How good are the components?
How well are they put together?
I've been very pleased with many Behringer items.
Funny how we happily accept clones of some things, but get whiny when it's a clone of something beloved. It's all a matter of whose sheep's getting sheared.
A clone is a clone. Could be good. Could suck.
Saying it will suck with no proof is ignorance.
Saying you'd rather pay more for Ampeg is valid, and a choice.
Only time will tell if they hit a home run, or if it's a swing and a miss.
I'd like to see and hear one.
Merry Christmas, folks!

The components used are usually the cheapest of the cheap, and as to reliability, not so good. But I think a clone is an exact duplicate, and as such, the wrong term used here. Cheap copy is more accurate.

They gave up the endorsement after I believe it was the FOURTH amp died in under 3 months. An SVT is a workhorse, a Bugera is a workorder.

I recall that B used the same switches, pots, and components as the way more expensive M's.
Chinese labor is another discussion. One that I think we all agree on, and that situation stinks.
If I could choose between something $1000 made in USA or $700 made in China, that's a no brainier. USA all the way.
But let's not be disingenuous about it.
Only time and trial can tell if the product is good and reliable.
Many of B's products are.
