Building a tweet box

Sign in to disble this ad
Im going to build a tweet box as an add-on to my NV610 cab. I currently have a temporary version made up using a variable L-pad, an eminence 3.5khz x-over and a tweet out of an old avatar cab (probably a foster horn). It sounds pretty good but I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on how this horn sounds compared to an eminence ASD1001 or P.Audio PHT410? I think that bergantino uses that P.Audio tweet and seem to remember it having more of a zing than the foster but, maybe that is his crossover? I think that the ASD1001 has a cleaner, smoother sound than both but, it's been awhile and I can't really remember.

i think the asd1001 is an option for fEARful cabs, crossed over at 5.5k ish i believe, there is a fearful headcase design that includes a 6" mid driver and the horn.
generally speaking i think bass cab manufacturers us a lesser quality horn than the asd1001, FWIW
