Bullfrog Alumabass 410? Need help with trade decision...

Hey guys.
I have my EV B-115 up for sale on my local craigslist. I never use it and am looking for a 4x10 to go with my Hartke Hydrive 410.

A guy offered me a Bullfrog 4x10 with gold aluminum drivers.

Is this a good deal? I don't know much about Bullfrog.

nobody can make a decent cab with aluminum drivers except hartke imho.

This is really a toss up. I never use my EV, so I don't want to trade it for a cab I still won't use.

Nope! They were around well before Behringer, and I've done more than a few gigs seeing their p.a. cabs on stage, which were loaded with conventional coned speakers by the way. The p.a. cabs were rugged, and seemed decent sounding. I never have seen anyone using, nor tried one of the BF lumy loaded cabs myself, so I can't comment.

I very briefly had one of their cabinets. It was heavy as all heck and it sounded terrible. Getting it back to the online retailer I got it from was a major pain also. Not a big fan of the Bullfrog.

So many mixed reviews it seems.
If I don't get a positive enough vibe, I won't even bother trying the cab out.

Personally, I wouldn't even bother trying it out. It didn't fare very well in a Jim Roberts era BP 410 Shootout.
