Buy a head and a cab.

Hello, I'm 13 and I have a Peavey MINX 110.
I want something better (sound), and my mum will be spend 1250 dollars (5000 pesos - ARGENTINA).
I don't know what cab and head I have to buy.
Does the head is more important than the cab ?
For example: an Ampeg B1-re costs 3500 pesos (875 dollars)
Gallien Krueger Backline 600: 532 dollars.
Gallien Krueger 410blx: 650 dollars.

I play metal, and I love Cliff Burton's tone.

The speakers are every bit as important as the amp. Buy a matched pair for best results.

Look on classified ads. I got an ampeg svt-3 pro head used for 450 and an ampeg svt-410hlf cab for 500. Both in absolutely mint perfect condition, no scratches at all. All for the price of a new combo amp.

Buy used. Way more rig for your money.

And no, I'd say the cab's more important than the amp. A mediocre amp can be made to sound pretty decent through a good cab. A great head will probably sound pretty lame through a mediocre cab.
