Been reading and re-reading about the orange bass terror so i decided to get rid of my current rig and go for it, but is there anything else at the same category or price range that i missed that could be worth checking out?

I have Ampegs and Fender heads. the one I have in my rack is the Fender TB1200 (front vented, around $1300). Worth checking for comparison...About the the Oranges I don't know anything other than they seem to be sold by more UsA music stores........

Read my review of the BG500 here:
http://www.musicgearreview.com/artic...play/3482.html

In short: nice bang for the buck -- loud, full range tone, presets. All for about $700. Didn't try the 210 version, but I imagine it'd be just as good, maybe with a tad less bottom.

Reading... Good stuff.

Playing? You GOT to play it before you buy or you WILL be annoyed. Dont' just sell you kit and order something on line! Find one at a store and fire it up.

If you can't play it, don't buy it. Seriously.
