I am looking at the Fender Pro 6x10 and 2x15. I am wondering what others who have this head use? Thanks! |

I think 12s are under-rated for bass. The Marshall VBC412 4 ohm cab would probably sound fantastic with the 300 Pro.

Although, I'd seriously consider getting two of those marshall 4x12s and running it as a full stack. I might produce a bit of a mess in my.......uh.........."tent" if I did though.

Plus the cabs are the exact size for the 300pro. |

My only complaint is that the head is of an odd size and it sort of looks funny sitting on the cab. Sound more than makes up for that and it sort of looks cool anyway. Just talked to Don at LDS and he will make his cabs Fender sixe free of charge, wish I'd known that when I ordered, but still, it is a unique look and like I said,m the sound is undeniable.

Plus there is very little difference to me in the highs being audible.. so the 215 is a win to me. There also isnt any real volume difference from the 610 even with the less speaker area, (even if there was that head can get plenty loud to compensate) and the 215 is a little cheaper. If youre on the ball you can find a deal where itll be around $800.
I personally did not like it with an ampeg cab. Hoping to soon pickup a berg to put it with at times, but that isnt the same size as the head which is a bit of a neg. for me.
btw.. anyone whos a 300pro user.. I would really appreciate your comments on this thread: My Letter/Suggestion to Fender (300PRO content)
