Cab Builders Who Use Light Plywood

Looking to get a single 15 cab built by a good builder who uses
Okoume ply. Driver will be a Faital 15. I don't want a greenboy
builder. Don't want a greenboy cab. Any suggestions?

why " get " one built when there IS one built

Glasstone GT-15 @ 28lbs

i know it doesn't use the light ply ( it's 13ply birch ) but @ 28lbs,, who cares ?

edit; & it's loaded with a Faital already

Just as a matter of interest, why not?

If light weight is the target Mike Arnopol builds composite cabinets for Audiokinesis that are significantly lighter than wood. Don't know if he builds for your taboo company or not, but many builders do work for more than one company. He is known for his incredible attention to detail.

It seems like everyone is going lighter these days. Smaller rigs all around, and I am still using the 8x10 rig. I guess I just like moving lots of air, no matter where I am.

The only cab that I would grab that is lighter, would be the Berg 610. On the other hand, I could understand why a lot of guys like smaller cabs. I sure do feel sore after lifting that thing up and down stairs.

I think it's Planet X. First Android, now planet X. Google is a marketing machine.

Fair enough.

But I guess we need to get back on track, and not jack the OP's thread.

I've talked to Mike and the prices for the greenboy builders seem high for a single 15 cab, no x-over, no HF component.
That's why I don't need a greenboy design per say.

Wish I had a great argument, but they are expensive Can only speak for myself when I say the Faital 15PR400 is a driver that just kills, but they come with a pretty hefty price tag.
