Cab dilemma 4x12 or 2 (2x12)

So I'm sure I want an Aguilar DB cab. But I can't decide if getting the 4x12 would be better than getting 2, 2x12 cabs.

I know the obvious differences, cash, portability, etc.

But sound wise will there be a difference? I know that there will be 2 horns, but I would probably turn one completely down.

i've never heard either one, but looking at them and their specs, the only difference i see is that the usable low end spec in the db212 41 hz and in the db412 it's 37 hz. that's the only real difference i can see. mind you, this is without hearing them, but i'd expect performance to not be drastically different.

The Aggie 4x is essentially a stacked 2x, and the sound would be the same.

I can vouch for the DB412 being awesome

I've been thinking about getting a DB212 for smaller shows on the premise of what Bill said: they should sound the same.

OH man. This is not helping me chose...

On one hand the big 4x12 is really cool.

But sometimes my band will play really small shows. So I almost wonder if having the option to take just one 2x12 would be great.

Do the 2x12 have casters?

I know that my DB410 has casters, as well as my DB115, so I would go ahead and assume that the DB212 would have them as well.
