Cab Dilemmas

Feel free to correct me, but my head puts out 500w at 4ohms. Now do i get a 4ohms cab and have more power now but less if i get a head that puts out 8ohms later. Or an 8ohm now and have less power now but more if i get a new head?

If you are using the same head, the difference between a 4 ohm cab and an 8 ohm cab would barely even be noticeable.

Get an 8 ohm cab, and leave room for expansion is you need more volume.
