Cab/ Head Matching Question

Sign in to disble this ad
I've never been good with understanding how to match cabs and heads, so here's a major noob question. Basically, I need to know if i can use these two things together.

I am looking into upgrading to this head :Ampeg PF500HE Portaflex Bass Amp Head | Sam Ash Music 1-800-4-SAMASH

And i own Hartke VX410 Bass Cabinet | Sam Ash Music 1-800-4-SAMASH this cab.

Thanks for your help!!!!

Thanks. In your opinion, would it be better to get the 350, or the 500?

Always better to buy as many watts as you can afford, but then you also need enough speakers to handle that wattage. I think your 410 should do fine for now.
