Cab for my Eden WT300

Sign in to disble this ad
I read everything about what's best for this head and I'm not satisfied. THe specs are 300W into 4 ohms and 175 into 8 ohms.

Actually I run the head with a cheap beringher 2X10 8 ohms cab. It worrs well for rehearsal.

If I understand correctly if I hook another 8 ohms cab I will have all the 300W on power. Am I right?

Is it better to run 2 cab (2X10 and 1X15 at8 ohms) than a single 2X10 cab at 4 ohms? Wich setup will give me more volume, headroom, power... to play live for example.

Help to buy the right cab for me.

I have a WT-400. I ran it for a while with two 8-ohm SWR cabinets: a 2x10 and 1x15. It sounded great and got very loud, although you do get phase cancellation when using woofers of different sizes in the same frequency range.

I got rid of the SWRs an bought two Bergantino 1x12 cabinets. It's a much more compact setup, and I prefer the sound. I recommend 2-8 ohm 1x12s or a 4 ohm 2x12. Or, you could just add another 8 ohm 2x10.

Volume comes from having multiple spkrs, so add another 210 and you're set.
