Talking Cab recommendations thread (for me, from you!)

Warning: Long read. It's an "asking for cab advice based on the list below" thread.

Okay, so I'm moving out some cabs that I like a lot. Why? Keep playing the field. I'm bad for that. Here's some insight into my taste. See if you can't recommend me something in the same vein as these cabs. Thank you so much for the help guys!

Some running favorites from the past include:

Genz Benz 610T XB2:
It sounded great with any amp and had a much better (unoffensive) high end than most cabs I've owned. That cab, my SVT, and John Worrell's pickups made my P bass shimmer like I'd never heard before. It took a lot to fart that cab and it was way too loud long before that happened. Didn't fit in my Accord though. Oops.

JBL E140 in a TL606
It had wonderful old school tone and was great to drive with a 30w valve amp as a poor man's B15 rig.

Mesa Diesel 115 (EV in a TL606)
This thing has great mids and it can really take an aggressive tone well. It's done doom, hip hop, classic rock, and pop punk for me and sounded great through and through.

BagEnd 410 - This cab has sounded good (and deep) with any amp I ever used with it and never farted out. I just wish I'd skipped on the coaxial for overdriving some of me mid wattage tube amps.

Current candidates include:

Bad End S15D:

I know I like Bag Ends. My 210/410 stack is killer. I just want to bail on the coaxial tweets. The S15's are that plus I can fit two of them into my car's trunk with an amp head! Score!

Ampeg PortaFlex

I can say that I trust JimmyM's opinion on gear because I tend to own and enjoy the same things. I'm now looking at the B15-N cab to my left while the head is at the shop and the SVT-CL that I couldn't help but to pick up for one more whirlwind romance. I figured if he liked this one too, I probably would like it also. I tried some PortaFlex in GC and liked them, although they were a bit dark, albeit in an Ampeg-like way. I was thinking of two 115 PF cabs and the 500w head, perhaps keeping a backup head inside of the other cabinet as well.

Genz Benz Ubers

I've heard good things, TB, and most of them are from you. I loved my old 610 and I can only hope I'd love these cabs and their weight. I need to try one first though. Where does one find an Uber in central Ohio?

Oh, and I'd like to try Genz Ubers, an NV610, and fEarful cabs when I find oppertunity to too. Those are all things that I think might be in a good direction for me. What do you guys think?

I have similar taste as yours, also liked the XB2, and Deisels particularly. For the past few years, I have no GAS for anything since getting a GB Uber 212. Try an Uber, and be happy for life.
