Cab set up, NEED HELP.

I want to get a Line 6 low down head which pushes 400watts at 4ohms into a Avatar410neo. I want to buy the 8ohm version of the 410 so later down the road i can buy another 4x10 for the full stack. I go on tour in August, and will not be able to buy the second 4x10 before, so i will be borrowing a friends swr 2x10(8ohms and semi-older version) as an extension cab. Good idea or not? Maybe even just play without the 2x10 and just run the line 6 head(4ohms) to the 410(8ohms)? But if i take that route will i be loud enough to hear over a loud drummer and two guitarists playing into orange half stacks with mesa triple rec heads? I realize i will lose some power if i play through an 8 ohm cab with a 4ohm head, and being loud enough is my largest concern.

Not a good idea. If both the 4x10 and the 2x10 are 8Ω then they will be given the same power from the amplifier. The 2x10 will be at its limit while the 4x10 will be cruising.

+1 not an ideal pairing- though if you never push the 210 too hard, you won't break anything, but you'd be better off with just the single 410 for now.
