I've really been trying to hold out and at least try one of the new GK combos (the MB210 looks really good, but I'd like to try the MB115 too), but nobody has any in stock locally and it seems the expected delivery dates keep getting pushed back. So I'm considering alternatives.
I've found a used Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 for sale, just the head, not a combo. I've looked at the prices for the equivelant Genz Benz cabs that would go with the combo and they're out of my range unless I can find a deal on something used.
So, any recommendations on another cab I could use with the Shuttle 3.0 that would still sound good but would be more in the $250 range? Or am I dreaming? A 2x10 or 2x12 that could handle the full power of the Shuttle would be perfect. |

If you can handle a larger, heavier cabinet, there's a lot of these items coming on the market used as "older" players shift to smaller, lighter gear. I think you would be happier in the long run.

andy's right, though. if all you have to spend is $250, go used and get something a little heavier and better than what you can get for $250 new.

As soon as I tell you the ones I don't like someone else will tell you why I'm wrong.
BTW GBs CS is TOP NOTCH.

However, you say you would "go w/ quality". Trouble is I'm still a newbie, so I'm looking for some guidance on what brands I can rely on for quality. I don't want to waste an hour driving somewhere to check out a cab if the general consensus is that brand x is generally poor quality and will likely fall apart two weeks after I buy it. |

Opinions on a Lopo 110 custom with an Eminence 102B, or a Lopo 112 w/ an Eminence Deltalite II Neo? |

Own 2 B-212's, no compromise in sound quality, build quality, or price, not to mention Dave (owner) is usually available and great to work with. Although, unless you find one locally it might be difficult to try before you buy. But I definitely recommend them if you get a chance to play through one. |
