Cabinet Help, GT7 Through GB 6.0

Sign in to disble this ad
Like the title states I have a groove tools 7 that I just scooped up for 500$ with a very nice soft shell case. I currently own the genz benz shuttle 6.0, and the matching 212 neo cab from the same company. 300 watts at 8 ohms 600 at 4 ohms.

I am hoping to find a second cabinet to use as an alternate that sounds even better! I think I would like to try a 210 or 410 rig.

I need something with very clear and articulate response across the rather large range. I tune the lowest note to b and the highest note to f. I have 2 bass that I will be selling or trading that I value at 350-300 respectively. I plan on using the money from one or both bass to buy a new cabinet. That should give you an idea of the financial side of things.

Are there any particulars I should keep in mind when shopping around? Obviously frequency response, but what else?

i would think that the GB 212Neo would be a very competent cabinet to use with the GT7..

look at the Accugroove cabs that Bill Dickens uses.. and then find something somewhat similar in your price range..
