I've been a Genz endorser for a couple years and love their stuff. Still play their amps and love them. Obviously I got into the greenboy stuff and ultimately became a builder, so that tells you what I prefer It isn't my intention to derail your thread, so just sticking with the cabs on your list (most of which I've tried) I feel the Uber 115 is the way to go there. Fairly light, very well built, sounds really good and the best customer service in the industry.
The boutique thing is just different...some folks love it and some don't |

Having said that, my good Buddy MadBassPlaya just bought himself an LDS 215 off the TB classifieds that is amazing...2 15" Eminence 3015's in it, and weighs roughly 70 lbs, kickback casters and a handle...as close to perfect as youre gonna get for a lightweight 2x15.

The GKs coming in at 40 lbs tilts it a bit in that direction, but it also comes down to sound

The boutique thing is just different...some folks love it and some don't | In that price range (Uber) I think I would build my own fEARFUL or have you build me one! Plus, not that I'm sure of this, but my guess would be that for my larger gigs I would need two and at nearly a grand a pop they would seriously have to deliver some goods!

You would be surprised how loud those boxes get.

Like I said, I'm looking at those cabs but would like to keep on the major brand path for discussion!! Already had a fearful thread blow up in my face
That said Peavey- any stuff off the rack that you dig??

| | | | yeah, the TH looks great, although after 10 years of gigging with a DB680 Aguilar isn't high on my list in terms of amps, even though I bet the TH sounds much, much different. Almost content with the 7pro right now- starting with the cabs and will then address the amp if need be (ie when I get bored with it).
Regarding the NV- 108 pounds isn't in the running. Need light X2, or light X1- not heavy...
