There's a very good reason they don't list weights

as a builder why the Uber? Does it stack up pretty well to your builds? My guess is that yours are superior! What do you dig about the Uber? Great website by the way!

Thanks!

I've been a Genz endorser for a couple years and love their stuff. Still play their amps and love them. Obviously I got into the greenboy stuff and ultimately became a builder, so that tells you what I prefer It isn't my intention to derail your thread, so just sticking with the cabs on your list (most of which I've tried) I feel the Uber 115 is the way to go there. Fairly light, very well built, sounds really good and the best customer service in the industry.

The boutique thing is just different...some folks love it and some don't

Somebody out there is making cabinets out of carbon fiber and resin with neo drivers. Those should be very easy to lift.

I have two Ampeg PF-115 LF's that I power with my SVT7-Pro and I really love the sound AND the look, however at 55 pounds each, Im not sure you would be saving yourself and your back much trouble with them...LOL..still a killer stack though.
Having said that, my good Buddy MadBassPlaya just bought himself an LDS 215 off the TB classifieds that is amazing...2 15" Eminence 3015's in it, and weighs roughly 70 lbs, kickback casters and a handle...as close to perfect as youre gonna get for a lightweight 2x15.

that must be a great sounding rig, and is in the running for me. The GKs coming in at 40 lbs tilts it a bit in that direction, but it also comes down to sound

In that price range (Uber) I think I would build my own fEARFUL or have you build me one! Plus, not that I'm sure of this, but my guess would be that for my larger gigs I would need two and at nearly a grand a pop they would seriously have to deliver some goods!

A 15/6 can be pushed to be as loud as a 610. You would be surprised how loud those boxes get.

No complaints at all I gig a couple of times a month but have only gotten to use it 3 or 4 times with the band, just got it in September. I play mostly classic rock and blues.

let's not go down this road just yet!! Like I said, I'm looking at those cabs but would like to keep on the major brand path for discussion!! Already had a fearful thread blow up in my face
That said Peavey- any stuff off the rack that you dig??

Aguilar tonehammer 500 should be on your radar. As far as cabs, I wouldn't be sad to see a nv412 as a backing cab.

yeah, the TH looks great, although after 10 years of gigging with a DB680 Aguilar isn't high on my list in terms of amps, even though I bet the TH sounds much, much different. Almost content with the 7pro right now- starting with the cabs and will then address the amp if need be (ie when I get bored with it).
Regarding the NV- 108 pounds isn't in the running. Need light X2, or light X1- not heavy...
