SLM 810's -AV & E models were often made of particle board, & imo, sound darker than the LOUD models.
Haven't played a Heritage model, but if I was gonna buy a new one today, I'd go for a standard model unless a Heritage Model was a similar price.
AFAIK, Loud cabs are ply wood & weigh less than older SLM's too
Heritage-made in USA too.

The Heritage cabs are also much much lighter,,, I know the Heritage SVT410hlf is about 68 lbs while the other SVT410hlf is 80 or 90 lbs.

Cheers

Here is a repost from something I put up in an older thread:

The two cabs definitely sounded different. The Heritage had more low mids going on and was more smooth up top. The 810e had more upper midrange clarity.

I did a comparison of an older SVT-810 to my NV610 some time ago, but I have not done a recent comparison. I'll see if I can work something in with the 810e and the NV610.

I'll just say I really really really like my Heritage 810.
