Can you watch this video, then recreate it and tell me if your amp does the same thing?

What does the amp do when you have a bass plugged into it? |

You dont get a maxed VU meter?

It said that with the compression turn up high, background noise may appear.
I was wondering if the high level of treble was emphasising any background noise that was going on.
I may be talking rubbish.
