Question Calling Larry Hartke!!!

Hi.
So I have an HA2500 amp, and I see on the back there is an "HPF" switch.
Now nowhere in the owners manual that came with the amp, or on the back of the amp, does it mention what this switch does exactly. I did some looking around and found an older HA2000 manual which has the same switch. It basically states that the "HPF" switch cuts out lower frequencies so as not to damage speakers which are not capable of handling lower frequencies. I have experimented with this both ways and it does just that.

So what I really want to know is:
"Exactly what frequency range is cut by using this HPF switch, or, to be more precise, what is allowed to pass?"

The reason I ask is I have an older 2.5XL cab and it is ported to handle lower frequencies (down to 35 Hz). It seems to handle the HPF switch being off pretty well, but I do not want to damage my cab. I also have a 1x15 cab which goes down to 40 Hz which I may want to use this on too. Using both at the same time is also an option.

If anyone else knows chime in.

40hz. I would leave it ON at all times... You don't really need anything below 40hz.

PS - Larry, if you see this, I'm the guy who called last week about my LH1000. It's working great, and the 2 guys that helped me out at Sampson over here on LI were true pro's.

What I'm saying is I'm speaking from experience. Best customer service around hands down.

Haha don't be shy. Sure, he's a legend, a pioneer, and a master at his craft, but he talks to you like you're a person. Not like you're some moron who dosent know what he's doing like some other customer service people do.
