CAN ANYONE HELP ME ID THIS CAB?!?!?!?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I bought this cab for $150 because it was a 215 with some awesome EV speakers and it sound great with a solid state head. However, I have no idea what it is. Someone told me it looks like an old Acoustic and someone else told me an old Sunn. Idk, i'm new to the bass game, so I'm still learning. So here's some pics, anything would help. thanks.

Almost looks like a old Traynor 2x15 cabinet.

But all the ones i have seen hand a Silver Grill and a silver plastic strips around the edges.

Does it look like somebody spray painted it black?

otherwise i have no idea maybe some one will pop in
im looking for a pic..hang on

*edit* yah not sure their was a Traynor YT-15 which had 2 low cost Marsland speakers, or their was the YTL-15 which had the higher quality JBL D-140's do a google search for those..still not sure yours looks deeper than a Traynor

The first 3 pics didn't open for me, only the two attached thumbnails.

Can't see the pics of the front, so I can't help ID the cab, but the lack of trim isn't a show-stopper for it being a Traynor.

Early Traynor cabs and heads had rounded corners, and looked decidedly Fender-ish. The chrome/black plastic edging and squared-off styling was a later addition.
