There is an old Fender head on CL for dirt cheap. I sent the guy an email and will probably pick it up if he still has it, but I would like to know what it is.

looking at it again its not a Fender, I just talked to the guy he said the only thing it says on the back is made in Japan. Ill probably go pick it up tomorrow, he is selling all 3 for 25 bucks so why not.

Wow, I'm surprised he still had that stuff. You could scrap them for parts and make more than $25 instantly.

What's the chance that the seller really doesn't know the condition of these amps? I'd almost be willing to bet that they are not worth repairing, or that the most expensive parts (the transformers) are blown.

If I feel like driving into the middle of Houston tomorrow after work, its worth $25 to check them out. Just depends on my day tomorrow
