Can anyone tell me about the Gallien-krueger blxii 4x10 cab?

Is it good enough to gig with a jerked ha3500? Is a tweeter something u really need with a bass cab?

The BLX are the entry level cabs. Some find them ok and I've seen players gig with them. Not my cup-o-tea but you might like them. Most players it seems, turn the tweeter horns off.

I picked one up used a while back. They can't be pushed particularly hard, but they aren't completely underwhelming. It will work with your head, but don't expect to blow the pants off the crowd with it.

I'm not a huge fan of it (tone wise), but with some proper EQ'ing you could get some decent tones out of it. I haven't had any reliability issues with it. It does what its supposed to and hasn't failed. Granted I don't use it much any more, but when it was getting used it did stand up.

you might be able to find an avatar 4x10 in that price range. If not than peavey most hartkes are in your budget.
