Can it be done?

I played on a GK MB210 combo tonight, and love the sound, as far as the G string when I slap and pop. My question is can I get that same sound from my set up? Eden WT550 with a Epifani PS410, my Bass a Bongo HH 5er.

P.S I may have just gotten hired as the new bassist for a band I am filling in for!!!

no, by definition you can't get the same sound from a different rig.

anyway, don't worry so much about "the same"; just worry about getting as good a sound from whatever you're using.

I also wouldnt imagine being able to ge tthe same sound outta two different amps....how ever....im sure you could get close....if you have the option to use both simultaniously....then i would say play both and adjust eq as needed to get as close as you can. but i wouldnt expect the "same" sound outta both.

congrats if you score the bass spot in that band.

right. might not be the same, but a good player will get a happening sound out of anything you throw at them.
