Can I add a 3rd cab to my Markbass setup?

I am pretty ignorant when it comes to this stuff but, can I add a 3rd Markbass cab to my current setup consisting of a CMD-112 combo and NY-112 cab? There is an extra speakon jack on the 1x12 cab so, it got me to thinking about this. Thanks

No. You cannot add a 3rd cab. Your combo is 8 ohms and the NY121 is 8 ohms giving you a total of 4 ohms. This is the minimum you can run.

You Can... BUT It will damage your Amp (Head).

I did this by accident, I plugged an LMK Head to one 8 ohm speaker and one 4 ohm Speakers (which I thought was an 8 ohm).

It sounded ok, but I only did this for less then a minute, when I plugged the speakons off, I realize I made a mistake, luckily nothing happened.

So, if you do this by accident and not run it like that for only a short moment, like I did, it's ok, but if you do this on purpose, that's not wise at all
