If you mean the MB15 Micro Bass Combo, the specs state it is a 4 ohm minimum load, so unless you were to disconnect the internal speaker, you couldn't even connect one 4 ohm speaker to it.

Check if it is a combo with 8 ohm speaker which is normal. If so, hook one 4 ohm to the other which makes them 8 ohm combined and then plug the daisey chain in and you have 4 ohm toal load with combo plus 2 series daisey chained 4 ohm cabs.

That is incomplete information at best (and catastrophically bad at worst). The in/out jacks in most cabinets are wired for parallel operation, and, as such, were the OP to daisy-chain his two 4 ohm cabs, he would almost certainly create a 2 ohm load with them.

Connecting 2 4 ohm cabs -( daisy-chaining) = 2 ohms therefore a completely F*$%d amp if a 4 ohm load is minimum.

Hi.

I couldn't find the MB115 You mentioned, but all the whooping 4 pages of the MB15 "manual" is here:

http://www.carvinworld.com/manuals/B...Bass_manV1.pdf

Since You have obviously read the "manual", You probably know the answer already?

Unless You connect the TWO 4 Ohm cabs in SERIES, You can't use neither of them with that combo.

Daisy-chaining the cabs is connecting them PARALLEL, that You don't want to do.

Fortunately, according to the manual, the amp has protective circuitry so it won't blow up, just shut down. If the protective circuitry functions as it should that is.

Regards
Sam

My bad, that is right. I was thing of my Ampeg B5r amp that went to 2 ohm and that is what I ran but in this case Don't do this. Sorry for the cunfusion.

Understanding series Vs parallel is critical. If you don't understand this don't do it! You must connect the two external 4 ohm speakers in SERIES for a total impedance of 8 ohms. If you don't understand how to do this don't do it! You cannot just daisy-chain them with std speaker cables or you will present a 2 ohm load to your amp...and remember that all electronic devices including git amps work internally on smoke. Do not let the smoke out!
