can i remove my head?

i have a gk700rbii/210 combo and i have practice with a group that has a cab there and was wondering if it was possible to remove the head from the combo and just take that to use with the provided cab

does anyone have any experience with this?

I believe you can, however, you'll need a cover. The head is open if you remove it.

You will need the top/sides metal cover to protect it. Those are around $75 from GK, or have someone make one for you. You could also build a head case for one out of plywood and cover it with anything you want. Lastly, you can find some generic 2 space rack ears and mod them to fit, or buy the official ones from GK.
