Can I route a synth this way?

Not sure which place is best for this question, but I think amps is probably closest.

I currently run the following signal chain:

bass --> x2 wireless --> Radial Bassbone --> Markbass LMII --> Berg HS410

This setup is fantastic, no issues here.

I am wanting to add a synth to my live setup (thinking DSI Mopho), primarily for synth bass sounds but maybe the occasional lead, etc. We play a bunch of 80's pop.

Could I run the Mopho output into one of the Bassbone inputs? Would the synth output levels be too high (couldn't find specs on the input range of the Bassbone)?

Would it sound any good? Would the bass amp/cab be EQed too strongly for bass guitar? I would imagine some of the synth bass stuff could potentially sound huge. The Berg does have a tweeter though so might be alright. I wouldn't expect an Ampeg fridge to do it justice but my current combo is pretty modern/hi-fi.

The default option is just to run synth --> proDI --> mixing board but I was thinking it would be cool to be self contained with still a single XLR output from the Bassbone to the mixing board (and I wouldn't be playing both at the same time anyway).

Thoughts? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks
Rob

PS - I would be running the synth in mono for live use anyway so that wouldn't be an issue.

the bassbone is designed to do exactly that. it'll work fine for the synth. just plug it into the channel with the eq in case it needs to be eq'd differently from your bass.

Yup, perfect set up. I'm looking at the mopho as well, to replace my Little Phatty, (which I foolishly sold). Great little synth.

If needed, just add a basic EQ pedal between the synth and the Bassbone and use it to adjust tone and levels. Too easy.

Synth...

Sounds like a really fun set-up. You should also check out the Studio Electronics ATC-XI quad, if you have the ability to bring rack gear. It's getting way use than my DSI evolver...
